Application Test Engineer

Job Description
The primary responsibility of
the Application Test Engineer is to develop JTAG-based test
procedures for customer furnished equipment using Corelis
software tools. The ideal candidate will be familiar with
all aspects of printed circuit board test methods and have a
good understanding of design for test to maximize test
coverage. The candidate must be able to work independently
and make decisions without continuous supervision. Test
procedure development often requires direct engagement with
end users to discuss technical design details in an effort
to satisfy test requirements. Candidates must possess strong
phone and e-mail communications skills and be able to
analyze and communicate problems down to the root level.
Corelis Application Test Engineers become the resident
experts of all Corelis products. Candidates will also be
responsible for pre-sale and post-sale support for
Corelis-based test products and test services, including
quoting JTAG test procedures and making confident
recommendations for test solutions. Other responsibilities
may include live or web-based presentations, demonstrations,
and customer training in addition to conducting product
support by telephone, e-mail, and in-person.
The job will require some travel, but much of our customer
interaction is over the phone or via e-mail.

Software/Firmware
Engineer

Job Description
Primarily be responsible for
building and verifying firmware images for the purpose of
formal verification and quality control. This person will
also be responsible for creating processes and tools
necessary to manage different version of firmware source and
images as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise
with the target boards during the verification process.
Duties and Responsibilities

C and C++ programming,
scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.)
compliers/linkers, debugging hardware and software,
revision control systems and laboratory oscilloscope and
logic analyzers.

Design and implement near
real-time code for testing and controlling of
peripherals.

Create software
specifications and architectures to meet embedded
requirement applications

Hold code reviews with
extended design teams along with extensive software
testing and validation.
Knowledge and Skills

Well-developed embedded
firmware coding and troubleshooting skills and a keen
eye for detail.

Embedded programming
experience is a must.

Experience with Microsoft
Visual Studio (MFC, API, .NET) is a plus.

In-circuit emulator and/or
